COACHES

Coach Ervin was born and raised in the Houston/Klein area and graduated from Klein Forest High School in 2003.  Prior to becoming the Head Coach at Klein Ok, he also spent the last 3 years as an Assistant Coach at Klein Forest.

Coach Ervin decided to take the leap of faith from coaching college to teaching and coaching high school in 2018.

In 2016, Ervin was hired at Texas A&M Corpus Christi University as the Director of Operations of the Men's Basketball program.  Before Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Coach Ervin served as the Associate Men's Basketball coach at Texas A&M Commerce University from 2015-2016.

Before moving back to Texas, Ervin was the Head Coach at Southeastern Illinois College for 5 years, 2010-2015.  Although Coach Ervin lived in Illinois, he recruited mainly in the Houston area.  One of his first ever recruits was a Klein Oak graduate by the name of Demetrius Levarity, who later on became a 1st team all-district performer and Division 1 basketball player.

Coach Ervin graduated with a Business Degree from Texas A&M Corpus Christi University in 2007 and also played his collegiate ball there as well.

Coach Ervin is a proud father of twin girls, Aris and Aniston, and has a beautiful wife, Courtney Ervin.
